Q1: How do I do an entry into the database EMPOMAP ?

A1: First click on the EMPOMAP link on the left panel of the window. You will be asked to enter your user name and password do log in into the system. (In case you do not have a user name yet, click on 'I do not have user name' and follow the instructions.) After log in, go to link 'ADD NEW ENTRY OR EDIT the database' on the left side of the window. Select the database 'EXPERT / ORGANIZATION / PROJECT', click 'NEW ENTRY' and complete the form. After entering your data, click 'preview' on the bottom of the form. Review your data and if everything is OK, click 'SUBMIT'. Only then your entry will be saved and can be viewed by other experts.

Q2: I do not remember my password, how do I get it?

A2: Follow up the instructions on the web or write directly to the administrator: projects@ei.sk

Q3: I have registered as a NORMAN network member and when I search for me I do not find myself. What should I do to be on the list of experts?

A3: You have to register as an expert (not only user). How to do it, see Q1/A1.

Q4: Can I edit my entries again after I have submitted them?

A4: Yes, you can edit all entries that have been created by you. Go to link 'ADD NEW ENTRY OR EDIT the database' on the left side of the window. Select the database 'EXPERT / ORGANIZATION / PROJECT', and all entries you have done will be shown on the screen. Click on 'EDIT' next to the entry you want to modify and update the form. Do not forget to do 'PREVIEW' and 'SUBMIT' in order to publish your data.

Q5: I do not want to publish my entry yet. How can I save it without publishing it?

A5: Instead 'PREVIEW' click on 'save as draft'. You can return to your entry later and modify it, see also Q4/A4.

Q6: I have made an entry into database EMPOMAP and I do not see it when doing search.

A6: Either you did not save your entry, or it is saved as draft, see Q4/A4 how to publish your entry if it is saved as a draft.

Q7: I would like to search also the EMPOMAP and EMPOMASS databases.

A7: The EMPODAT and EMPOMASS databases are now in the development stage and it will be available at the public website only in the final phase of the project (May 2008).
